Privacy policy

Skill Codex is made by ThirdEye Games ("we"). This page explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your skills stay on your phone, the built-in AI runs on your phone, we show no ads, and we don't sell or share your data.

What stays on your phone

• Your skills and settings. Everything you add to your grid, plus your devices, budget, font and color choices, is saved only on your device. We don't receive it.
• The built-in AI. Skill Codex includes a small open-source language model that runs entirely on your phone. What you type or paste for it is processed on the device and is never sent to us or anyone else. If the model isn't already on your phone, the app downloads the model file once over Wi-Fi; that download sends no personal information.

Purchases

Skill Codex Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment; we never see your card or billing details. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have Pro. To do that, RevenueCat receives a random ID created by the app, your purchase history for Skill Codex (what you bought, when, and whether a trial or subscription is active), and basic technical details such as the app version, your device's operating system and your country. This is used only to unlock Pro, restore purchases and keep subscription records.

Connecting Claude (optional, Pro)

If you choose to connect Claude so it can keep your Claude tab up to date, you create a Skill Codex account. We then store your account email and the list of skills, plugins and tools Claude sends us, so the app can show them. This is stored with our hosting provider and used only for that feature. When Pro ends, the connection to Claude is switched off; your Claude skills are kept so they're there if you return, and are deleted when you delete your account. If you never connect Claude, none of this applies.

What we don't do

• No ads and no advertising ID.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.
• No selling or renting of your information.

Deleting your data

To ask us to delete your Skill Codex data, follow these steps:

1. Data on your phone (your skills, settings and the built-in AI): delete the Skill Codex app. Nothing else is needed; we never had a copy.
2. Purchase records and your Claude connection account: email skillcodexsupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Skill Codex data". If you connected Claude, send it from your account email. If you didn't, include the Google Play or App Store order number for your purchase so we can find the record.
3. We delete your account email, your Claude skills list and the purchase record held by RevenueCat within 30 days, and reply to confirm. Apple and Google keep their own receipts for your purchase, as required for their tax and payment records; we can't delete those.

If you connected Claude, you can also delete your account yourself in the app under Settings.

Children

Skill Codex is meant for people aged 13 and over and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

Information sent to RevenueCat or our servers travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app.
